We offer a large product portfolio for connecting IEC 60870-5-101 and IEC 60870-5-104
devices to each other and to other protocols. These are some of the typical
challenges:
If the application layers on the IEC 60870-5-101and the
IEC 60870-5-104 side are largely compatible, ipRoute is the tool of your choice.
Configuration of the individual information objects is not needed, only
interface and general communication parameters must be defined. ipRoute
is very easy to configure and has proven its worth in many projects.
If the IEC 60870-5-101- and/or IEC 60870-5-104 devices are not mutually compatible, i.e.
address spaces do not match, information representation is different, we
recommend using
ipConvLite and ipConv. This allows the devices to be decoupled to a
great extent. Unlike ipRoute, these converters require configuration of
information objects, which can easily be accomplished using an Excel spreadsheet.
You want to link up IEC 60870-5-101 devices via
dialup...
ipRouteDialup allows substations without own dialup
function (ACU) to connect via the telephone network to a superior master station. ipRoute
and ipConv are used to implement the connection on the part of the master
station.
ipConvOPC allows you to connect both IEC 60870-5-101- / IEC 60870-5-104devices and
devices based on other protocols via an OPCinterface to a SCADA system. Both OPC DA 2.05 Server
and OPC DAXML 1.01 Server may be used.
ipConvPS allows you to link up different protocols such as IEC 60870-5-101, IEC 60870-5-104,
DNP 3.0 etc. to Profibus-DP. ipConvPS then acts as a slave.
ipConvLite and ipConv enable the connecting of any existing protocols, such
as IEC 60870-5-101 and IEC 60870-5-104.
