The RS232/Ethernet converter ipEther232 enables the control of devices with
RS232 interfaces via TCP/IP.
Each device integrated in the network can be used from different workplaces. In
addition, the serial-to-Ethernet converter ipEther232 supports various security
features such as password protection ensuring that your serial end device is
protected against unauthorized access.
Windows drivers (NT, 2000, XP) are supplied for standard applications,
providing a virtual serial COM interface for integration into the Windows
environment. For applications other than Windows (NT, 2000, XP), operation
system independent solutions are used: ipEther232. Modem was developed as
an independent product for these applications.
