ABBHTC

Coupling between an ABB COM581 RTU, which serves as a LON bus interface, and the control station is realized with the IPCOMM protocol converter ipConv.
Protocol converter and control station communicate via the Hitachi HC4300 protocol, which uses HDLC for the link layer. Communication towards the RTU operates with the IEC 60870-5-101 protocol.
