At the transformer station in Nurek two PACiS gateways in redundant operation are used for the 220 kV as well as the 500 kV station control system.
Two ipConv gateways connect these PACiS gateways to both the NCCs in Dushanbe and to the digital control system (DCS).
The PACiS information are collected by means of IEC 60870-5-104, Master and are distributed to the new NCC via IEC 60870-5-104, Slave or respectively
to the "old" NCC and the DCS via IEC 60870-5-101, Slave.
The ipConv gateways operate in parallel too. The communication is done completely independent from each other.
Our IPC191V3 19" 1U is used as hardware platform. The gateway is equipped with eight serial and four Ethernet interfaces.
5,000 data points are to be transmitted.
