Communication between the SPECTRUM control system and ipConv protocol converter uses IEC 60870-5-101 in balanced mode, with the protocol converter as the slave.
Downlink communication is realized via a telecontrol transformer TCT using the Indactic 21 protocol, with the protocol converter as the master.
For this application, messages and measured values are only transmitted towards the control system (control function).
